Dream Makers students get a hands on learning experience


Students from the Southwest Center for Health Innovation’s FORWARD NM Dream Makers program were featured in the Silver City Daily Press this week. The program aims to get students interested in health careers and help them develop the skills they need to succeed in medical school.

 

Dr. Sumulong, a family medicine resident with CHI’s partners at Hidalgo Medical Services, led the students from La Plata Middle School as they dissected fetal pigs. Read more…
